
Method:
1. Grease and line 20cm cake tin. Preheat oven to 170 degree Celsius.
2. Cream butter and sugar until and light and creamy.
3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each until mixture is light and fluffy.
4. Add essence. Pour in sifted flour slowly into mixture.
5. Pour mixture into tin ensuring that each side is level.
6. Bake for about 55-60 minutes or until light brown
